Clementine — Apocalypse Survivor

So I've just finished Season 2 of The Walking Dead, and there are some things I think are worth updating regarding Clementine. This is our first character update, but I'll be leaving the text of the previous post below in case people are still interested.

Note that this is not strictly character progression; I've altered several stats and levels from my original iteration to better match what she's shaped up to be able to do. It's also worth noting that I will stat her as I played her, simply for ease of Hindrances.

Name: Clementine
Race: Human
Experience: 70 (Heroic)
Agility d8; Smarts d8; Spirit d8; Strength d4; Vigor d6
Pace 6; Parry 5; Charisma 0; Toughness 5
Hindrances: Young, Loyal, Pacifist (m)
Edges: Alertness, Great Luck, Elan, Common Bond, Marksman, Extraction
Skills: Climbing d6, Fighting d6, Healing d6, Intimidation d4, Notice d6, Persuasion d6, Shooting d8, Stealth d6, Survival d6
Inventory: Hat, Jacket, Ice Pick (Str+d4), Hatchet (Str+d4), Pistol (2d6, AP 1, 12/24/48)

In addition to my previous notes (Luck, Extraction, agile, smart, and spirited), she also has reasonable Vigor regarding Soak rolls and nausea checks.

Clem doesn't tend to miss out on much (Alertness) and she can do most anything that she puts her heart to (Elan). She's also one of the better climbers of the in the apocalypse, quickly scaling ladders, boxes, or whatever else. A young, loyal soul, and damn good with a pistol, Clementine is a formidable force in the apocalypse, especially after learning a couple more tricks from Jane.

Something something comments below, yadda yadda.

ORIGINAL TEXT:
_________________________________________________________________________
Anyone that's even remotely interested in storytelling as I am has probably played Telltale's The Walking Dead. It only stands to reason that the one we'll be taking a look at is going to be Clementine.

This is including up through the third episode of Season 2 (which is as far as I've played up to this point). This is, of course, only how I've played her; I'm sure some of you probably made her Ruthless in your games. Potential spoilers incoming.

Name: Clementine
Race: Human
Experience: 50 (Veteran)
Agility d8; Smarts d8; Spirit d8; Strength d4; Vigor d4
Pace 6; Parry 4; Charisma 0; Toughness 4
Hindrances: Young, Innocent, Loyal
Edges: Alertness, Great Luck, Elan, Common Bond, Extraction
Skills: Climbing d6, Fighting d4, Healing d4, Intimidation d4, Notice d6, Persuasion d6, Shooting d6, Stealth d6, Survival d4
Inventory: Hat

Looks like we've got another high Spirit character here. Clem has several Attributes at d8, which are honestly rather justified. Great reflexes, incredibly strong willed, and very intelligent (she comes up with every plan in Season 2, and a couple in Season 1). Plus, there's no way you get away from that many zombies without Extraction and hefty pile of Bennies.

Clem doesn't tend to miss out on much (Alertness) and she can do most anything that she puts her heart to (Elan). She's also one of the better climbers of the in the apocalypse, quickly scaling ladders, boxes, or whatever else. A young, loyal soul, her Innocence was stripped from her near the end of the first Season after the death of Lee.

Overall, she's built as a walking lucky survival machine.
